Audition Next Gen Tournament Rules & Regulations

These rules apply to all tournaments organized, hosted, or sponsored by Audition Next Gen and PlayPark Inc.

All participants including players, teams, staff, hosts, marshals, casters, and officials must follow these rules at all times.

Failure to follow these rules may result in warnings, penalties, disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, suspension, or bans from future Audition Next Gen tournaments.

By joining the tournament, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules.

1. General Provisions

1.1 These rules govern player conduct, gameplay regulations, and tournament procedures for all Audition Next Gen tournaments.

1.2 All participants must follow:

  • These Tournament Rules

  • Audition Next Gen Game Policy

  • Instructions from Tournament Officials and Event Marshals

1.3 Failure to follow these rules may result in:

  • Warning

  • Score penalties

  • Match forfeiture

  • Disqualification

  • Tournament ban

  • Account suspension

1.4 All decisions made by Tournament Officials and Event Marshals are final.


2. Player Eligibility

2.1 Players must use a registered Audition Next Gen account.

2.2 Accounts must be Level 30 or above to participate.

2.3 Players may only use the account registered during the tournament registration phase.

2.4 Account sharing, substitution using another player’s account, or impersonation is strictly prohibited.

2.5 Team substitution is allowed only if the substitute player is registered during the official registration period.

2.6 If a substitute player is not registered, the team must compete with the remaining registered members. One decoy account will be added to the team slot but must remain inactive and must not perform any gameplay actions.


3. Tournament Setup & Game Settings

3.1 The tournament will use the current Live Server version of Audition Next Gen PC.

3.2 Game rooms will be created by Tournament Officials or Game Masters (GM).

3.3 Officials will determine:

  • Room name

  • Game mode

  • Songs

  • Settings

  • Match schedule

3.4 Players must follow all instructions given by officials during the tournament.

3.5 The Shader option included in the latest update must remain enabled.

3.6 Legacy settings must remain OFF during the tournament.

3.7 Any attempt to modify game settings to gain an advantage will result in immediate disqualification.


4. Avatar, Map, and Item Restrictions

4.1 Avatar Customization
Participants may use their preferred Audition avatar and avatar items during the tournament.

4.2 Avatar Effects
All avatar effects must be turned OFF to ensure fair gameplay.

4.3 Restricted Accessories
The following accessories must be removed during gameplay:

• Bags
• Wings & Hand Accessories
• Visual effect items
• Removable Icons and Effects

4.4 Official Tournament Map
The official tournament map is New Hip Hop Street.

4.5 Map Requirement
The map must remain enabled and visible at all times during the match.

4.6 Map Compliance
Failure to comply with the official map requirement will result in immediate disqualification.

4.7 Prohibited Item – Metronome
The Metronome item is strictly prohibited during the tournament.

4.8 Registration Requirement
Players must register using an account without the Metronome item equipped or present in the inventory.


5. Equipment & Hardware Regulations

5.1 All matches must be played using the PCs and hardware provided by the event organizers.

5.2 Players are NOT allowed to bring or use personal peripherals, including:

  • Keyboard

  • Mouse

  • Headset

  • Earphones

5.3 All players must use the default PC specifications and full-screen resolution settings provided by the organizers.

5.4 Any attempt to change PC settings without permission will result in a warning or disqualification.


6. Match Procedures

6.1 Players must enter the assigned game room within the specified call time.

6.2 A 2-minute call time will be enforced.

6.3 Players or teams who fail to join within the call time will be automatically disqualified.

6.4 Players will be given 5 minutes of setup time before the match begins.

6.5 After the setup period:

  • No additional setup time will be granted.

  • Players must continue the match using their current configuration.

6.6 Players are not allowed to leave their tournament station without permission from officials.


7. Technical Issues & Disconnection Policy

7.1 If a peripheral malfunction occurs, the player must immediately notify an Event Marshal.

7.2 Gameplay must continue unless officials announce otherwise through in-game chat.

7.3 PC-related issues affecting gameplay must be reported before the match ends.

7.4 Rematch requests will not be accepted after the match has ended, unless a confirmed global server or network issue occurs.

7.5 Legitimate disconnection cases will be evaluated case-by-case by Tournament Officials.

7.6 Officials will consider:

  • Possible foul play

  • Score at time of disconnection

  • Expected match outcome

7.7 If approved, a rematch will be granted only once and must be requested within one (1) minute of disconnection.

7.8 Intentional disconnections such as ALT+F4 or manual disconnect will result in:

Score of ZERO (0) for that round or disqualification.


8. Prohibited Conduct & Fair Play

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Hacking

  • Game modification

  • Exploiting bugs

  • Using unauthorized software

  • Using external hardware for advantage

  • Match-fixing

  • Account sharing

  • Impersonation

  • Cheating devices

Any violation will result in immediate disqualification and possible permanent account ban.


9. Scoring System

Team Battles

  • The winner is determined by total team score.

  • The team with the highest combined score wins the round.

Individual Battles

  • Scores are recorded at the end of each round.

  • Players with the highest points advance to the next round.

  • If points are tied, advancement will be determined by total score.


10. Code of Conduct & Sportsmanship

All players must maintain respectful and professional behavior.

The following behavior is prohibited:

  • Insults or harassment

  • Racism or discrimination

  • Sexual harassment

  • Offensive language

  • Threats or violent gestures

  • Disrespect toward officials or staff

  • Taunting or provoking opponents

  • Champion Conduct

    Tournament winners are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the entire duration of their championship reign. As title holders, they represent the tournament, the game, and the community, and must uphold the highest standards of integrity, sportsmanship, and respect toward fellow players, officials, staff, and the public both during and outside of official events.

    Failure to demonstrate proper conduct, sportsmanship, or ethical behavior may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, revocation of privileges, or removal of the championship title at the discretion of the tournament management.

Disrespect toward Marshals, Hosts, Casters, Game Masters, or Community Managers before, during, or after the tournament will result in disciplinary action or disqualification.


11. Discipline & Penalties

Tournament Officials may issue penalties including:

  • Warning

  • Score deduction

  • Match forfeiture

  • Disqualification

  • Tournament suspension

Examples of warning violations include:

  • Changing PC environment without permission

  • Ignoring staff instructions

  • Using offensive language during competition

  • Disrupting tournament proceedings

Players who accumulate three (3) warnings will be automatically disqualified.


12. Rewards & Taxation

12.1 Tournament rewards are subject to applicable laws.

12.2 Under the Philippine National Internal Revenue Code, prizes exceeding PHP 10,000 are subject to 20% final tax.

12.3 Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.

12.4 PlayPark reserves the right to deduct taxes before prize distribution.

12.5 Disqualified players or teams will not receive prizes.


13. Authority of Tournament Officials

Tournament Officials and Event Marshals have full authority to:

  • Issue warnings

  • Enforce penalties

  • Disqualify players

  • Suspend matches

  • Approve rematches

  • Interpret tournament rules

All decisions made by the Tournament Officials are final and binding.


14. Rule Amendments

The Audition Next Gen Team and PlayPark Inc. reserve the right to:

  • Modify tournament rules

  • Adjust event mechanics

  • Enforce additional regulations if necessary

Changes may be made with or without prior notice to maintain fairness and integrity.

Participants are responsible for staying updated with the latest tournament rules.
